The commitment to process improvement through a systematic scientific approach has always been foundational to A&E’s quality initiatives. To that end, we’ve recognized the need for a focused, project approach to process improvement and training that takes advantage of the traditional Six Sigma system.
A&E’s Quality Business Culture (QBC) is customer driven. It focuses on process improvement, with the realization that we must constantly change the process for the betterment of our products and services. Process improvement is lead by our management team with associate involvement.
QBC is focused on being lean in the creation of value and the elimination of waste. We accomplish this by determining customer needs, understanding each step in the process, taking waste out of the process, and being customizable and made-to-order whenever possible. Again, this process is one of continuous improvement and one that supports our goal of being the preferred global supplier by providing world-class quality products and services to our customers.
