• Full Description: Anefil™ using Kevlar® is a twisted multi-filament sewing thread manufactured with a 100% certified DuPont® Kevlar®, para-aramid filament. Anefil™ using Kevlar® delivers best in class seam performance providing tremendous tensile strength, superior ply security, seam integrity, abrasion resistance, cut protection, and short term heat resistance. Certified A&E sewing threads for use in protective products have been reviewed under current guidelines and approved by UL standards for use in protective products.   • Fiber Resistance to Alkali- Good
  • Fiber Resistance to Bleach- Poor
  • Fiber Abrasion Resistance- Fair to Good
  • Fiber Resistance to Heat- 200 deg C (Highest continuous temperature before breakdown)
  • Fiber Melting Point- N/A (Does Not Melt- Decomposes at 427 deg C)
  • For long term high temperature, Meta-Aramid Thread, such as Anesafe™ using Nomex®, or Anefil® using Nomex® are recommended
  • Low elongation may require machine adjustments
  • Para-Aramid prewound bobbins are available in multiple sizes
