• Full Description: Perma Core® Ultimate Thread for Fine Garments Requiring FINESSE. Finer than traditional Perma Core®, A&E’s Perma Core® Ultimate delivers best-in-class seam performance and displays great strength for its size. Ideal for fine tailoring, Perma Core® Ultimate assists in the reduction of thread derived causes of seam puckering by allowing for size reductions and the use of smaller needle sizes. • Advantages:

  • Ultra low shrinkage helps reduce puckering during finishing and laundering
  • Excellent frictional characteristics allow thread to be sewn at minimum thread tensions
  • High tenacity allows for thread size reduction and smaller needle size use
  • Higher resistance to stretching under normal sewing tensions helps reduce tension puckering
  • Has a very smooth thread surface contributing to superior stitch and seam appearance
