Operating as a brand of Elevate Textiles, A&E’s long-standing commitment to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), sustainability, and Social Responsibility continues to be a top priority at all Elevate Textiles and A&E operations worldwide.

We take pride in being a responsible producer of quality thread solutions and services throughout the world, seeking to balance economic needs, social responsibility, and environmental impact. We are committed to achieving sustainability milestones by the year 2030 in key environmental areas—climate change, water stewardship, products and materials, and people.

HIGHLIGHTED SUSTAINABILITY GOALS

CLIMATE CHANGE

RENEWABLE ENERGY — As part of the Science Based Target (SBT) Program, we strive to attain 100% renewable electricity.

GREENHOUSE GAS REDUCTION — On track for a 46.2% reduction in Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions, aligned with SBT.

100% NET ZERO EMISSIONS — Using developed energy and conservation efforts with goal to be 100% Net Zero by 2050.

ELIMINATED COAL USE — A&E phased out all coal from its operations in 2021. This is ahead of Elevate’s goal to eliminate all coal use from each of its brands by 2030.

WATER STEWARDSHIP

WATER RECYCLING EXPANSION — Expand our water recycling capabilities through continued installation of UF / RO systems where able.

WATER USE REDUCTION — Targeting 40% water usage reduction by 2030 against a 2019 baseline year.

ZDHC MRSL COMPLIANCE — Maintain 100% compliance with ZDHC MRSL in all relevant facilities.

INCREASED WATER STEWARDSHIP — 100% of relevant facilities at Level 2 / Progressive in ZDHC Supplier to Zero.

PRODUCTS AND MATERIALS

RESPONSIBLY SOURCED FIBERS — We aim to attain 100% preferred and low climate impact fibers in our priority materials (polyester and cotton).

ELIMINATE LANDFILL WASTE — Working to eliminate all landfill waste by 2030.

INCREASED SUPPLIER AUDITS — At least 50% of suppliers will conduct environmental and social audits by 2030.

PEOPLE

INCIDENT RATE REDUCTION — Working to reduce our incident rate by 10% each year with the goal of no safety incidents.
