A&E’s A-A-50198B is a 100% short staple, spun cotton sewing thread. Often used traditional, buttonhole applications, gimp is an ornamental trim, in which a design can be sewn or embroidered into place. Twisted and finished for optimum sewing performance, A-A-50198B boasts low elongation with excellent loop formation. Unaffected by needle heat or pressing, A-A-50198B will not melt, making this sewing thread ideal for applications that require a natural fiber.
