A&E communications
A&E communications is a medium that A&E Lanka is using to disseminate information on A&E’s existing and new product details, current promotions, technical information and also industry related information via e-mails on regular basis. Currently A&E Lanka has an email database of about 2000 of our platinum customers.
Vendor Managed Inventory
A&E initiated VMI in order to offer benefits of bulk manufacturing to customers. A&E will be collecting thread related information from vendors and fabric mills on seasonal basis and produce seasonal requirements in one go (only a certain % considering the risk factor). VMI thread will be kept in package form at A&E stores and as and when customers send the actual PO, goods will be wound into requested Meterage and delivered on PO delivery dates. VMI programs create a win-win situation for both customers and A&E.
Colour Solutions Centre® (CSC)
CSC is a customized service offered by A&E Lanka to its customers at their door step by way of establishing a mini colour center at customer premises. CSC is predominantly holding stocks of below listed categories at any given time.
- Global Colour Card Shades (W Shades)
- Panton Colour Card Shades (P Shades)
- Customer fast moving shades (Seasonal Colour Palettes and Retailer wise Fast moving shades)
CSC has a dedicated colour specialist to provide in-house thread matching for customers.
Efficiency Drive (The Morale booster)
Efficiency Drive is a 3 day program carried out by A&E Lanka for the sewing operators at customer factories by an energetic core team of 6 members and a supporting team of 20 from cross functional teams.
Core objective of this program is to enhance the morale and the productivity levels of customer’s factory staff and thereby increase overall factory efficiency levels. Platinum customers of A&E Lanka are eligible for this program and the core team conducts a pre audit of the factory variables such as efficiency, garment type manufactured, workers’ attitude/culture etc. before formulating the execution plan as it’ differs from factory to factory.
A&E Order Tracker
A&E Order Tracker is a virtual tool developed to facilitate customers to trace their thread order status in A&E manufacturing process.
Using the PO number of a particular order, customers can identify in which stage their order is being processed. Via this tool A&E is expecting to create 100% transparency in order Planning to Finishing at any given point.
