Sustainability

Sustainability is defined as “meeting needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.” Sustainability seeks to balance the economic, social responsibility, and environmental impact — recognizing that population growth will continue.

A&E’s long-standing commitment to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), sustainability, and Social Responsibility continues to be a top priority at all A&E’s operations worldwide. It has been widely recognized that enhancing environmental sustainability in operations and in the supply chain is simply the right thing to do, and it is essential to meeting expectations of both customers and stakeholders.

A&E’s Corporate Sustainability Report FY 16/17

This year’s report reflects the three concepts that drive A&E’s industry-leading sustainability program: Transparency, Traceability, and Trust, while highlighting accomplishments in the areas of safety, environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
