Perma Spun® ECO100

A&E‘s Perma Spun® ECO100 is manufactured with 100% recycled polyester, creating an environmentally-friendly, staple spun sewing thread. Twisted and finished for optimum sewing performance, Perma Spun® ECO100 is the ideal thread choice where a wholly recycled, staple spun polyester is required. For use in the general sewing of light and heavy weight garments, Perma Spun® ECO100 delivers excellent seam strength and sewing performance across multiple operations.

Produced in GRS SCOPE CERTIFIED facilities, Wildcat® ECO100 is manufactured with 100% recycled, textured polyester. A fully recycled variant of Wildcat Plus®, Wildcat® ECO100 provides excellent elasticity, softness, and strength to deliver all-around performance and longer-lasting, softer seams, while delivering an eco-friendly product you can depend on.

Anesoft® ECO100

Anesoft® ECO100 is manufactured with 100% recycled, textured polyester. This eco-friendly variant of A&E’s Anesoft® sewing thread, provides the same level of seam softness and seam coverage in our traditional product. Its textured construction also displays the same suppleness and extensibility necessary to deliver ideal seams used in knit and stretch garments, with the added sustainability of a 100% recycled thread. Aneflex™ ECO100

Developed from 100% recycled polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), A&E’s Aneflex™ ECO100 sewing thread adds sustainable stretch for highly elastic seams. An eco-friendly variant of A&E’s Aneflex™, this thread is engineered for sewing performance in stretch garments constructed with highly extensible fabrics without compromising seam strength. Aneflex™ ECO100 is produced in GRS SCOPE CERTIFIED facilities.

Anestrong™ ECO100

Ethically-manufactured, Anestrong™ ECO100 is a 100% recycled polyester variant of the traditional, high tenacity sewing thread, Anestrong™. Recommended for use in transparent blindstitching, basting, and felling apparel applications, Anestrong™ ECO100 delivers a soft, smooth thread with exceptional strength versus other sewing threads of a similar size, due to its twisted multifilament, polyester construction. Anefil Poly® ECO100

Anefil Poly® ECO100 is a 100% recycled, polyester sewing thread featuring a twisted multifilament construction. This sustainable thread displays good abrasion, chemical resistance, and very good color fastness. Anefil Poly® ECO100 allows for the flexibility to infuse an ecologically-friendly, premium sewing thread into a diverse assortment of non-apparel applications, from automotive components to high quality footwear. Produced in GRS SCOPE CERTIFIED facilities, this thread product is available in bonded or soft finishes.

Anefil Nylon® ECO100

Ethically produced in GRS SCOPE CERTIFIED facilities, A&E‘s Anefil Nylon® ECO100 is manufactured using 100% recycled, 6.6 nylon. Providing very good abrasion resistance and excellent seam strength, Anefil Nylon® ECO100 delivers a great sewing performance with a sustainable story. This 100% recycled, twisted multifilament sewing thread is available in bonded or soft finishes and is ideal for use in an array of non-apparel applications, namely footwear, automotive, and furniture applications.

Super Matte® Extra ECO100

Manufactured in GRS SCOPE CERTIFIED facilities, Super Matte™ Extra ECO100 is a 100% recycled polyester core embroidery thread. As with A&E’s Super Matte™ Extra, this high-performance embroidery thread is engineered with additional core strength, ensuring excellent stitch formation and appearance, while providing the added eco-friendly benefit of a 100% recycled polyester construction. Available in the same shades as A&E’s iconic Super Brite Polyester® embroidery thread line, Super Matte™ Extra ECO100 provides muted colors that contrast beautifully against high luster thread products.

Anecot Plus® SPC

A&E’s Anecot Plus® SPC is a long staple, spun cotton sewing thread, manufactured with Cradle to Cradle Certified™ compliant dyes and chemicals. Anecot Plus® SPC is excellent, sustainable choice for garment overdyeing and available in Soft, Gassed, or Mercerized and Gassed.

Cradle to Cradle Certified™ is a globally recognized measure of safer, more sustainable products made for the circular economy. A&E has earned a Gold level C2C Certified Material Health Certificate™ for Anecot Plus® SPC. A C2C Certified Material Health Certificate™ is awarded to products that meet the material health requirements of the multi-attribute Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Product Standard.

Chroma™ SPC

Specially-treated under tension to provide excellent luster and increased strength, A&E’s Chroma™ SPC is engineered for higher tenacity and increased abrasion resistance versus traditional long staple cotton thread and is manufactured with Cradle to Cradle Certified™ compliant dyes and chemicals. Chroma™ SPC provides trouble free sewing due to its natural fiber, high tenacity, and excellent lubrication qualities.

A&E has earned a Gold level, v3.1 C2C Certified Material Health Certificate™ for Chroma™ SPC. A C2C Certified Material Health Certificate™ is awarded to products that meet the material health requirements of the multi-attribute Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Product Standard.

D-Core® Eco

A responsible sustainable, sewing thread choice, D-Core® Eco is manufactured with a natural, cotton staple wrapped around a 100% recycled, continuous polyester filament core. Like traditional D-Core®, this thread is engineered for its color to fade down with the garment. This thread’s recycled core offers more strength compared to traditional cotton threads, while providing an added layer of sustainability and enhancing seam integrity.

D-Core® Eco is certified by SCS Global for using recycled content in its thread core and is a USMCA / CAFTA-DR eco-friendly sewing thread option.

Perma Core® Eco

As an alternative to the fully recycled Perma Core® ECO100, A&E’s Perma Core® Eco is made with partially recycled materials. This high-quality thread features polyester staple fiber wrapped around a core of 100% recycled continuous polyester filament.

Certified by SCS Global for its use of recycled content, Perma Core® Eco is a sustainable sewing thread that meets USMCA and CAFTA-DR standards.
